I've been on every side of this problem.
Most AI consultants come from one direction — either they're former technologists who learned to speak business, or former executives who learned to speak AI. I come from both.
I spent 7 years at Salesforce inside the world's most complex enterprise software ecosystem, watching how large organizations buy, implement, and — more often than not — fail to adopt transformative technology at scale. I learned that the gap is never the product. It's always the people, the priorities, and the decisions that never got made clearly.
After Salesforce, I led customer success through an AI-driven transformation at bluplanet — this time from the inside, owning outcomes rather than advising on them. The Tension Mapping™ phase delivers a diagnostic report and a 4-week action plan within the first engagement.
